Soldier & Family Newcomer's Orientation

The installation-wide Soldier & Family Newcomer's orientation is provided to Soldiers who PCS to Fort Campbell from both stateside and overseas assignments. The orientation provides information on the installation, the local community, and on coping with readjustment upon returning to the States. Briefings are held each Thursday at 0830-0930, at the 20th Replacement Detachment located at 6919 Desert Storm. Spouses are encouraged to attend.

Eagle Family Welcome
The “Eagle Family Welcome” is held every Tuesday at the Turner Army Lodging from 0900-1000, to welcome Soldiers and their Families to Fort Campbell. An informal briefing is conducted to provide important information to newly arrived families. Refreshments are provided by Turner Army Lodging.

Lending Closet
The Lending Closet lends basic household items such as dishes, pots & pans, irons, ironing boards, toasters, coffee pots, table & chairs, car seats, and highchairs to those individuals transitioning to and from Fort Campbell. When departing Fort Campbell, individuals must return signed out items prior to clearing ACS. Items cannot be issued to those individuals who have already cleared ACS. All items must be returned clean or they will not be accepted for return. Loans are for 30 days. However, extensions are given for up to 60 days. A valid ID card and orders are required to check items out of the Lending Closet. 270.798.6313.

Welcome Packets
The Relocation Office does not send out welcome packets to incoming personnel. Fort Campbell information can be accessed at (www.militaryonesource.com) and www.campbell.army.mil . Clarksville and Hopkinsville Chambers of Commerce will send out welcome newcomer information on the local community. Please call 270.798.6313, to request a welcome packet from either Chamber of Commerce. ACS Advisory Council

The Fort Campbell Army Community Services Advisory Council meets quarterly, and is comprised of a vast representation of all segments of the Fort Campbell Community, i.e., JR Enlisted, SR Enlisted, Retirees, Brigade Reps, ACS Staff, FRGA’s, BOSS Rep, Spouse’s, etc. You may submit any issues, concerns, suggestions, comments, compliments, etc to the ACS Advisory Council Email Hotline by clicking here.
