Family Advocacy - click here to email familyadvocacy@fortcampbellmwr.com
The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) provides educationally based programs and training to active duty soldiers, retirees, and their family members. FAP provides the opportunity through the programs and training to share information, enhance and develop stress management and coping skills and link to support services. Everyone can benefit from prevention and education. It is important that soldiers and their families realize that when stressed, they are more vulnerable to life’s challenges. A little extra support is sometimes needed. FAP can also provide assistance with linking to the other programs and services within Family Advocacy and other services on Fort Campbell.

Junior Enlisted Family Center (JEFC) -
At the YMCA Junior Enlisted Family Center at Fort Campbell, family members can attend cooking classes, sewing classes, parenting classes, or just come by to spend quality time with their children and other families. A calendar of programs is published monthly with the input of the junior enlisted family members themselves, so that we offer what they need.

Family celebrations are also an integral part of the YMCA programming of Fort Campbell. Each year, the YMCA offers May Fest, Military Family Appreciation Month, Christmas Dinner, an Easter Egg Hunt, and Halloween Party, among other activities to celebrate the importance of strong families.

The Backdoor Boutique is part of the YMCA Junior Enlisted Family Center and also provides a valuable resource to the families in need at Fort Campbell. The Backdoor Boutique collects donated clothing and small household goods from generous folks at Fort Campbell and makes it available to those in need. Whether it is a winter coat for a little one, casual attire for dad, or a dress for mom to wear to church, the YMCA is there for the families at Fort Campbell.

The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is a mandatory enrollment program that works with other Military and Civilian Agencies to provide a comprehensive, coordinated, and multi-disciplinary approach for medical, education, housing, community, support, and personnel services to families with special needs. • Provide liaison for special needs for special education rights and responsibilities on/off installation
• Provide specialized training relation to special needs for Child and Youth Service personnel, military units and family readiness groups
