Operation R.E.A.D.Y. Course
Descriptions
Understanding and Planning for Deployments
Participants learn how to recognize and deal with problems that
may arise or persist because of the military mission and deployment.
Coping with Separation
Participants will be able to recognize and deal with stress related
problems associated with deployments.
Financial Planning
Participants become aware of the need to make financial preparations,
AER assistance, establishing financial goals, the need to develop
a deployment budget, and the importance of understanding a
Leave and Earnings Statement.
Who Should Attend
FRG Leaders Course:
•
Any FRG Leader at Ft. Campbell. Leader Training is mandatory
at Fort Campbell for ALL FRG Leaders/Co-Leaders.
•
Any member of any FRG who just wants to learn more about FRG’s & how
they operate.
POC, Treasurer, Newsletter Course:
•
Any Point of Contact, Treasurer/Fundraiser, Newsletter, Coordinator
for any FRG. POC & Treasurer training is mandatory at Fort
Campbell.
Child Care:
Childcare will be provided by STACC at the Family Readiness
Center, based upon space availability.
To utilize STACC:
o You will need to register for the class to insure your child
has a spot.
o If your child is already registered through the CDC/STACC you
do not need to
do anything.
o If your child is not previously registered through the CDC/STACC, you will
need to fill out some paperwork and provide a copy of your child’s shot
records. If you do not have a copy, you can make one here at the center when
you arrive.
o Please allow extra time to check your child into childcare.
If for any reason you have scheduled
to attend a class and will not be able to attend, You MUST
call to cancel the childcare
reservation. If you are a no-show, we still have to pay for that
reserved slot!
