Program Overview

Parents may choose from a variety of care options provided by highly motivated, well trained providers. Program activities are developed to reflect the unique skills of the provider and include play-based, child-centered activities that are exciting and fun for the children and youth.ArmyFCC.com is an information and referral tool for parents considering using Family Child Care (FCC) as their child care option.

The private section is made up of detailed text and pictures describing individual FCC Provider's homes. This information is intended to help parents see both the quality of the FCC Homes but also the uniqueness and individuality of each FCC Provider. This section is password protected and can only be reached through the Installation Child, Youth & School (CYS) Services Central Enrollment Registry (CER) Office. To get more information about reviewing FCC Provider Homes, a parent can find contact information in the public section of ArmyFCC.com. The following childcare options are available: Full day care, part day care, extended hours care, and drop in hourly care.

Open Your Own Child Care Business

“On the Road to becoming an FCC Provider Orientation Training” is an orientation for those who may be interested in opening a family child care program in their home or being a substitute family child care provider who goes into the homes of other providers to provide care when they are unable to do so. This is an excellent home business that supports the military mission and allows you to make a contribution to your families’ income! You will learn about the whole process of becoming an in-home family childcare provider or substitute care provider. This opportunity is available to those who live on post or off post. We are actively recruiting infant/toddler homes where you can have three children under 3 and no children of your own ages 3-7. We also have a need for multi-age homes (6 children) where you can have two children under two and four children over two counting your own children in the ratio. You may not bring children to this briefing. Any person who is interested in establishing their own business in their home and has Fort Campbell ID card may attend.  Please call 270.798.4959 for dates and times.

Accreditation

The highest honor any Family Child Care provider can obtain is to earn their National Association of Family Child Care Accreditation.  We currently have seven providers that have earned that status. (Irene Dowden, Lisa Arneson, Delmetria Warren, Channon Reynolds, Ronnika Davis, Lesbia Hererra, and Michelle Taylor.)  We have other providers who are in the process of obtaining their accreditation as well.
