Unit and Family Readiness Group Support is provided through the Kids on Site Program by providing free childcare for regular FRG meetings, deployment and re-deployment briefings, monthly information exchange and the information fairs held on base. Our KOS staff also support the Chaplain's Strong Bonds program as well as many ACS agencies. |
Kids at Home is an exciting program to help prepare our middle school and teen youth, ages 9 to 14, to be at home safely. This is a two pronged program that offers classes for the youth as well as the parents and is part of Child, Youth & School Services Outreach and Parent Education.

The goal of ACCYN is to increase the availability of high-quality child care options for Army Families outside the gates of the installation. Families using these high-quality programs will be eligible for child care fees comparable to those on post through fee assistance.
These programs were created to add additional hourly slots that the Child Development Centers and Family Child Care homes could not handle during their normal business hours. They are also able to provide care during non-traditional business hours.
When a small number of children need care and hourly slots are not available at the CDC or through FCC then groups or units can contact the Outreach Program to set up STACC care. For more than 20 children the CDC can be opened after hours to provide a safe place for larger groups. For more than 30 it will be mandatory to go to the CDC in order to assure that the children’s safety is priority and the level of quality care is not compromised. These programs are designed to support readiness by providing childcare during family oriented sessions or meetings. By providing this alternative childcare CYS Services assist in improving the quality of life our soldiers and families have come to expect here at Fort Campbell.

Military Families are increasingly impacted by repeat deployments, demands at home and the stress of being away. This program brings professional parenting support and child development information right to the homes of these young families.
Parents as Teachers, also called Heros at Home, is another service available to children younger than five who are enrolled with CYS Services. For more information about Parents as Teachers. |
