Operation Rising Star formerly known as Military Idol, is a talent competition much like American Idol. The competition allows the use of musical instruments and a Spirit Award for Unit and Family Readiness Groups (FRG) has been added.
During auditions, contestants will perform a cappella, (without musical accompaniment or props), for a panel of three judges.
Sportsman’s Lodge 6pm-8pm
Auditions: August 6, 7 & 8
The dates of competition: Thursdays, August 14, 21, 28 & September 4
Semifinals and Finals: Fridays, September 12 & September 19
