We offer (1) hour guided trail rides March through December 4. Riders must be 10 years old and all riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Please arrive 30-minutes prior to ride.

Saturday & Sunday: 9am, 10:30am, 1pm & 2:30pm.

SCHEDULED TRAIL RIDES

Heat greater than 90 degrees with an index of category of 5, ride times will
be changed.  Most likely only early morning rides.  Call before coming out.

All are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled ride time.

Pony rides are offered to children 2-9 years. Every pony rental requires a parent or legal guardian to lead the pony in a fenced arena. Registration is required 15 minutes before each ride.

We recommend calling early on Saturday and Sunday to schedule a pony, slots fill up fast. Reservations can be made by calling Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, provided no other activities are taking place.

HAY RIDES

March through November 2012, we will be offering hayrides every 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:30am & 2:30pm. In September and October we will be offering hayrides every other weekend. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to ride time.

COST:
$5 per person for 13 years and over
$2.50 for children 12 years and younger
FREE for ages 1 and under

Fort Campbell Riding Stables offers stall and pasture boarding. Stall board is $165 per horse a month. Assigned dry lots are available for each stalled horse. Included in boarding fees are hay, shavings and watering. We will also be able to offer partial and full board for additional fees soon. Pasture board is available for $94 a month per horse. During the summer horses graze on pasture grass. Winter months round rolls of hay are provided. A fresh running spring divides the pasture as the watering source. Boarding is open to Active Duty, Retirees and DOD Civilians.

Al A Carte

• $1.00 for each feeding per horse per day
• $1.50 for each turn out or turn in per horse per day
• $2.50 per horse per day for grooming and hosing off feet
• $3.00 for turn in and turn out per horse per day
• $3.00 for mucking out of stalls per horse per day
• $3.50 hand walking (15 minutes) per horse per day
• $6.00 per day for taking care of the horse for that day. Includes Turn in/Turn out, feed 2X and muck stall
• $15.00 weekend special (Only for Fri, Sat and Sun)

*All services are optional. Additional fees may be added if horses are in 24 hours for mucking fees. Payment for full and partial services must be paid no later than the 5th of every month or service will be discontinued. All other services must be pre-arranged at least 24-48 hours in advance with payment.

• Valid health certificate within 10 days
• Negative (EIA/Coggins) within 90 days
• EEE, WEE, Tetanus (within 6 months)
• Rabies (within 12 months)
• Influenza (within 6 months)
• Rhinopneumonitis (within 6 months)
• West Nile (within 6 months)
• Streptococcus Equi/Strangles (within 6 months)

*If your horse was not vaccinated for Strangles on a yearly basis your horse MUST be given a two dose booster. The horse must receive the first booster two weeks before entering into the facility. The second dose MUST be administered by a vet and can be done when getting the health certificate. All vaccinations must be administered by a licensed vet.

All incoming horses will be quarantined for 7 days. The cost is $5.00 per horse per day. An Ivermectrin wormer must also be given with staff present. Wormer can be purchased in the main office. Before release all horses will be examined and cleared by the post vet before moving into population. Vet fees are an additional $12.00. All releases are done Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Fort Campbell offers over 75 miles of trails. On the stabling property we have one indoor arena, a small and large arena.

  Non FCRS boarders can use the top riding arena for an annual arena rental fee of $20.00.   Barrels are available for practicing.
