Welcome to Fort Campbell Outdoor RecreationWelcome to Ft. Campbell Outdoor Recreation. We are fortunate to enjoy one of the best areas in the region for outdoor activity and would like to invite you to join us. Here you will find activities from horseback riding, hunting opportunities, paintball, and everything in between. The fishing here is great as well and if you are looking to shoot a round of skeet/trap or practice archery with your bow, we have an outstanding skeet range and archery range for you to enjoy. Perhaps you want to learn more about the outdoors. We will be offering classes during the year on a host of different topics from environmental education to dutch-oven cooking. So if you always wanted to know what a tulip poplar is or how to make cobbler in a dutch-oven, now is your chance. When you get tired from all these great things, don’t forget we have a RV Park and Campground to get some shut eye. On behalf of the entire staff, welcome and we look forward to seeing you.
Outdoor ActivitiesOther activities on Ft. Campbell include, but are not limited to hunting, fishing, hiking, scouting and camping. These activities are permitted year round, with exceptions. Anyone who desires to participate in these activities must have a Ft. Campbell recreation post permit. Recreation permits are available for purchase at Outdoor Recreation. Young people may accompany adults without a post permit. Ft. Campbell Hunting and/or Fishing permits include recreation. An area assignment, good for that day, is also required. Pay as You Go Activities Ft. Campbell Outdoor Recreation also operates the following activities: Archery Range, Paintball Field, Riding Stables, and a Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays Range. Information is available on all these activities at the Outdoor Recreation Office. More Information The Ft. Campbell Outdoor Recreation Office is located in building 6645 on the corner of 11th Airborne Division road and 101st Airborne Division road. Hours of operation are from 0730 hrs to 1630 hrs daily for the store area; 0700 hrs to 1730 hrs for the area assignment section (these hours are extended during hunting seasons).
