WHAT IS AFTB?

Many people have heard of Army Family Team Building (AFTB) but aren’t sure exactly what it is and what exactly it can do for you. AFTB classes are designed primarily for the military Spouse but anyone who attends AFTB classes will learn something new. AFTB classes are open to Military and their Families, Retirees, DoD Civilians and all those associated with Fort Campbell. All of the trained Army Family Team Building instructors are either Soldiers or military Spouses who have a passion for educating our military and their Families.

WHY TAKE AFTB CLASSES?

Networking - AFTB is a great networking opportunity to meet people in the same situation as you. Many students take all the level classes together and they help each other out in their military lives and also become valuable resources for helping others.

Childcare - AFTB also provides childcare for students as long as your child is registered and up to date with Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS). When you sign up for class be sure to let us know if you will be needing childcare. We must have children’s names and ages no later than one week prior to class start date.

Promotion Points- Did you know you can receive 4 promotion points for taking all three AFTB level classes? Bring in your certificates from the AFTB classes and we will get them signed for you to take to your unit S1. If you are not able to take AFTB in the classroom then you can also take it online at MyArmyOneSource.com under the online training section.
