Welcome to the Family Resource Center
Welcome to the to the Army Community Service (ACS) Family Resource Center (FRC). The Center is located at 1501 William C. Lee Road, inside Gate 1. The FRC opened its doors on May 23rd 2005 after a rigorous renovation. We service an estimated 3000 visitors on a weekly basis.
We are the "one stop shop" for Family Readiness Groups, their Families and we are the home of several ACS Family Programs, Army Family Team Building (AFTB), Army Family Action Plan (AFAP), Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator (AVCC), Mobilization and Deployment (Mob/Dep) and Family Advocacy Program (FAP), Victim Advocate, Sexual Assault and New Parent Support program on the 2nd Floor. The Center also includes a Short Term Alternative Child Care and houses the Military Family Life Consultants (MFLC).
The FRC offers 3 large classrooms with electric drop down screens and built in audio visual equipment. A conference room with LCD flat screen TV is also available. The elegant dining room with adjacent full kitchen and a resource library are the highlights of the FRC. Our large lobby offers a variety of helpful resource materials for all our visitors. The FRC also has a multi-media room offering 3 computers with internet capability, a printer, 2 copiers and a fax machine.
The FRC was created to cater to Family Readiness Groups (FRG) and provides mailboxe and 3 Video Teleconference Rooms (VTC) to communicate with their loved ones over seas.
As you enter the facility you are greeted by a large lobby area. The reception area is filled with informational material and fliers about Fort Campbell and local communities. Our receptionists will provide general Information on local community and Fort Campbell events and give directions. This is also where all event and room booking is conducted.
Each of the three large classroom (A, B and C) are perfect to hold functions for up to 150 people and give the option to be combined to hold up 450 people. Each room is equipped with a large electric display screen with built in overhead proximas. Each room offers independent access, tables and chairs set-up for your use.
The Conference Room is located on the west side and can accommodate up to 68 people with classroom style seating. The room has an LCD flat screen television for use with laptop and manual display screen for a proxima. Tables and chairs are set-up for your use.
The Dining Room is the highlight of the center, this room has a working fireplace with an arrangement of comfortable sofas and chairs perfect for an informal gathering. There is a dining area set up for 30 and two automated coffee makers.
 Adjacent to the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen, with stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and ice machine which is located directly outside in the hallway. There is plenty of working space to prepare meals or have a potluck gathering. In the cupboards you will find your essential kitchen tools, glasses, pots and pans, bowls, plates, flatware,
crock pot, fryer and an assortment of other needed kitchen items.
In the west side of the building you will find the Short Term Alternative Child Car (STACC) Room. STACC child care is available for use in conjuction with the rest of the center. Reservations for this service (room and staff) are made independent of reservations for the Family Resource Center classrooms. For more information or to make reservations call (270)956-4381.
Located down the hallway from STACC, in room 133 is the newest edition to the building, the Family Resource Center Library. The Library offers titles on Deployment, Separation, Grief, Career Transition, Major Life Changes and much more. Operating hours are 8:00 am till 4:30 pm. Three Video Tele Conference (VTC) rooms are located in Room 126, 127, 128 . Each room is equipped with a LCD flat screen TV, table and seating for five. The rooms can be used for visual as well as telephone conferences. FRG’s can schedule them to help Families stay in touch with loved ones overseas.

The Resource Room is located at the east side of the building. There are 3 stand alone internet capable computers, a printer and copy machine with paper to use. To make it easier to conduct your business, we offer some office supplies, a large working table, and a TV with VHS for children.
Directly across the hall is the Mail Room. Each FRG has an assigned distribution mailbox to facilitate an efficient exchange of information between the FRGs and the Division’s supporting agencies. This room is also equipped with a copy machine and paper for use.
The remainder of the east hallway houses the Facility Manager’s office and several of the Army Community Service Family Program offices, including Army Family Team Building (AFTB), Army Family Action Plan (AFAP), Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator (AVCC) and Mobilization and Deployment (Mob/Dep). |
