OUR MISSION
-
We provide personal financial readiness and consumer affairs prevention
and education programs for Soldiers, Family Members, Reserve
components, DA civilians, Retirees and Family Members.

We assist unit commanders and leaders in training Soldiers and Family
Members in personal financial readiness to include: the military pay
system, checkbook management, financial responsibility, credit reporting, savings and investing, and a host of other financial topics.

Army Emergency Relief (AER) is a private, non-profit organization established to assist Soldiers and their Family Member members in emergency financial situations due to no fault of their own. Financial assistance is given in the form of an interest-free loan, grant, or combination of the two. Loans are repaid by an allotment.

The Consumer Affairs Office provides assistance with pre-purchase advice on large purchases and vehicle purchasing. CAO will time review any type of contract for vehicle, rental property, warranty, insurance and investments. CAO encourages consumers to have all contracts reviewed prior to signing. CAO provides assistance with consumer complaint resolution and mediation.

The Consumer Affairs and Financial Assistance Program (CAFAP) provides personal financial readiness and consumer affairs prevention and education programs for Soldiers and their Family Member members, reserve components, DA civilians and their Family Member members. No appointment is necessary, Check writing classes and Money Management classes are offered on a weekly basis.

The Fort Campbell Army Community Services Advisory Council
meets quarterly, and is comprised of a vast representation of all segments
of the Fort Campbell Community, i.e., JR Enlisted, SR Enlisted, Retirees,
Brigade Reps, ACS Staff, FRGA’s, BOSS Rep, Spouse’s, etc. You
may submit any issues, concerns, suggestions, comments, compliments, etc
