Reunion & Reintegration
With the anticipation of the end being near, this is a joyous time for you, your Soldier and your Military Family. Returning Soldiers are happy to be home and yet may feel guilty about the thing they have missed. Patience and communication will help ease the transition. Children may react differently than what parents expect or hope for. Very young children may not member the deployed Soldier and may be shy. Older children may be resentful of the time the deployed Soldier was away from the family. Children may need time to get reacquainted. Give it time. If there were unresolved marital or family problems before the deployment, they will not have gotten better during the deployment. Realize it will take time and effort to resolve such problems. Be patient and keep expectations reasonable. One recommendation is to enroll in a Post-Deployment Battlemind Class for Spouses. ACS Advisory Council
The Fort Campbell Army Community Services Advisory Council
meets quarterly, and is comprised of a vast representation of all segments
of the Fort Campbell Community, i.e., JR Enlisted, SR Enlisted, Retirees,
Brigade Reps, ACS Staff, FRGA’s, BOSS Rep, Spouse’s, etc. You
may submit any issues, concerns, suggestions, comments, compliments, etc
